Very nice indeed Joe, were they close or did you crop the images heavily ? I have a 70-300 lens but I haven't tried flying bird shots yet . I thought an extender was needed for such shots but if you shot these with 300 mm , may be I can manage to shoot some seagulls too

Nice work on these shots Joe. I like the first one in particular as it's difficult to keep the highlights on a white bird in bright light.
