    lightroom export not same ?

Hey folks, I am trying to export some mono images from lightroom. I have edited so it brings the blacks down and reduces the noise, but in exported version it seems to have ignored it. It looks completely different in windows photo viewer. I have attached an image to show what I mean. It doesn't normally do this.

    Any ideas?

There is also a weird kind of pattern as well. Even when I export it into photoshop it does it. Thought it may have been an issue with windows photo viewer, but it's not that.

You'll have to post an example. Also perhaps a screenshot of your export dialog box.

By the way, please add your location and real name to your profile. We use real names on this site, and locations can often help people give better advice.

On the image you uploaded to Dropbox I can't see much difference between in image in Lightroom and the one in your Photo Viewing application, what are you seeing on your system as being the problem?
The image on the right (in JPG window) appears to have slightly more shadow detail but this may be down to the app used to view the image and how it interprets the image data.

Let me preface this by saying that I am not a fan of laptops for serious post processing,
    nor for using uncalibrated monitors.
Having said that...there are subtle differences in the images, when I pulled it into PS I see a slight boost in the shadows (RGB 2,2,3 as opposed to 0,0,0) for example. Maybe you used some slight shadow recovery??? Surprisingly, I'm not seeing any noise.

Hi , I cant explain it . I showed my photography lecturer it as well and he was baffled by the strange texture showing up, it only really happened on photos from one night, everything before and since seems fine. When I made the original screenshot the image on right was very different, so noisy and weird pattern. I exported it various times as well with same result. Its strange.
