    The Italian Job

At last I have had a chance to look at some of my Italian photos - this series should remind you of the film.

Tiny streets, ancient cities and vehicles............................ I would have loved to photograph the funeral procession we saw one afternoon around these streets too but couldn't do it discreetly enough....maybe another time.

Juggling the bright sunshine/showers/white walls/shadows many of you will know is very difficult - these are better than the one's I took 18 months ago, but tips to improve welcome.

Nice images Kaye, especially #2 and #3 Light is a bit too much at the end of the street in #2 as you say it is difficult to shoot in the bright sunshine.

Nice pictures! But where is it? Certainly in the south of Italy, but where, exactly? I could even be Gallipoli, where I have been many times, but those old towns are all very similar!

Hi Enrico - you're right Southern Italy - the first is in Lecce, the second Martina Franca and the third Ostuni. Beautiful places. We visited Gallipoli too which I remember well for a wonderful Gelateria.....................

Thanks Kay. My husband always says you don't know where I've been as I prefer to capture the little things in camera whereas he always goes for the big picture.

    Thanks for looking Jordan

Nice set, Kaye. Some difficult exposures well handled.

We share a common style in that regard. I tend to shoot details that catch my attention and rarely the "big picture". Keep it up. It works for you

Nice work Kaye, I like scenes like that as they capture the mood of the place.
