Getting around Tring Reservoir
I'll be in the UK for a week or so before doing some other traveling. I will be staying quite near Tring Reservoir and will likely be going over in the mornings.
It seems a pretty big place and I will only be able to go for an hour or three at a time. I suspect morning would be best but don't know the area that well.
Any local knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Getting around Tring Reservoir
Your best starting point would probably be the College Lake nature reserve, about 1 km from the Tring Reservoirs. There is a very good new visitors' centre there, with parking, cafe and toilets, where you should be able to find all the information you need about the area. This link tells you all about it and contains the Google Map reference (though the images are out of date) -

Cheers.

Thanks, I think I'll try it but it looks like they don't open until 9 or 9:30 which is pretty late in the summer.
