Australia's Oldest Bridge

Being a rather 'young' country in terms of European settlement much of our historic architecture only dates back to the early 1800s.

This is Australia's oldest bridge located in Richmond, Tasmania and was built in the 1820s.

I like it very much with nice colours and texture on the walls. Dark clouds suit the warm colours very well as Mike says

The golden glow on the stonework of the bridge with the reflected colour in the river all add to what is a great image. Well done

Thanks for that - trust me I just fluked it, about an hour before it was raining and it started again about 30 mins after this photo
