I'd crop out the pants as John suggests to remove the distraction and help redirect the view back to the sense of determination on the boy' s face.

Harmon, you have accomplished what I find difficult...skin tones on black folks. I struggle with that.
With this image, I would have wanted more facial detail as you have on the BB.
PS...typical teenage expression.
