    Into the Sun

    Into the Sun

I am just testing how uploading an image from the ipad rather than the computer works.
The photography technique used on the shot, is not one I've done a lot of either.
I will be interested to see how either/both work..

hmmm, I don't think the sz works from the iPad, trying again from the Big Mac...

Frankly, the shot does not work all that well, in my opinion. Your subject is rather washed out.

Having a back-lit subject means you really need to add fill flash to properly expose the model.

Hi Kay, I agree with Manfred about the fill flash, but what a beautiful girl!

    Exactly Kay.

Really, your shot needs that minor modification and you will be shooting using a fairly advanced technique.

If you look around your model's hair, you will notice that it has a real "glow", from the back lighting. This separates the model from the background. Now when you expose the model correctly, the background will darken even more and you will get a stunning image.

A professional photographyer, Joey L has made this type of shot his trademark of sorts.
