On my travels yesterday this caught my eye for some unknown reason!!

I can understand how you would be fascinated here. I like the gradations of colour in the sky too. Do these things get carried away by tornadoes?

Thanks for the comments. Luckily I have not seen the aftermath of a Tornado strike yet I would like to think that a Tornado might twist it up a bit but hopefully it would not launch one like a missle

Thanks John. If I would have turned around there were hundreds behind me as far as I could see. But then the late morning sun would have been right in my face blinding me

Thanks Ramachandran, I added the B&W and the Color versions. I normally tend to lean towards B&W but on this one I liked the sepia tone better for whatever reason at the time.

I certainly like it best because the increased contrast not evident in the other two versions emphasizes the graphic simplicity of the subjects. I also like the toning because its color is so pleasing, proving once again that sepia toning should not be reserved for use with so-called timeless subjects. Well seen and well post-processed!

Thanks Mike. Maybe next time I am in this area the light will be better for the large mass of turbines. I have a couple angles in mind

Nice image. I like the sepia best, the color least. I think the reason is that the image is really about simple lines and shapes, and the color distracts from that.

We have a few of these around here, and I have been fascinated by them but haven't tried shooting them.

I prefer the sepia too, Jon. Its proof that even something ugly can be made to appear 'beautiful' in photography.
