That is a little more crispy than was your lizard but more DOF is needed to bring the beak and tail into focus.

Beak is in focus. Tail not and it produce volume for me. Answer for it and the lizard: I never produce images too crisp, I like soft.
Real light and my real view is in soft details and tones.

Very nice shot. The black part of the background is slightly distracting since it is right at the birds head. Even with that it is still a great shot.
