    Binnur, I also cast my vote for Light Science &Magic. I got it the other day on Mikes suggestion and it looks to be very good.

    For landscape/out of doors photography, I can strongly suggest ANYTHING from Rob Sheppard. I got one a year or two ago called: Landscape Photography: from Snapshots to Great Shots and another one last year, the second edition of The Magic of Digital Natural Photography. If you order both, shipping is free (if you're not a Prime member). The Magic second edition replaced a battered copy of the earlier version. If you go for concise directions, you might take a look at NatGeo's Complete Photography which I got to learn at least a little bit about portrait, architecture, and product topics which I don't do often but sometimes want to do when I'm on a trip.
