    Getting noticed

I have been and am still in the case of P1 Superstock (powerboats) in discussion with people about getting my name out there.

I am fed up with photographing everyone else so for the remainder of this year and next I am sponsoring three Jet Skis in the UK and USA, and starting next year I am going into partnership with Cardinal Racing and sponsoring a boat for three years.

Here are two "mock ups" will be collecting the sineage for the Skis next week in time for Hull and Wales.

    Brilliant, Jeremy.

Are you able and willing to share any details about the sponsorship agreement(s)? It could provide a useful aid to some of the rest of us wondering about similar type things (not to do with powerboats/jet skis).

    No problem.

I am also going to "sponsor" in part an ambulance on a couple of hill climb events, really it involves a "donation" to the ambulance and placing your signs on the side, and a couple of cars, one in each category next year.

    As for my passion, water.

    It depends on the placings.

To sponsor a beginner you are looking at say £50-70 per weekend through the eight weekend season about £400-560

To sponsor a podium winner about £150 a weekend for your name say £1200 plus printing per year

There is also the cost of the logos on the suits and helmets.

Of course you can not do just a one off

As for the P1 Superstock powerboats I am looking at £10k per year for the next three years plus overseas costs, flights, drivers and promo locations through the UK for the boat to attend say another £5k a year.

    Oh I don't smoke

One of the best ways is motorsport, where you can approach drivers to have your logo, say mine below attached, and offer them say £100-150 a year to run with it.

But there are so many more to consider.

You could have a banner made up and pay a local football ground, rugby, motocross, car race track to have it on the fence

Here is one of my naff old ones the new ones are being collected in a week
