    The Brat Pack

A portrait of the likely lads (which includes my son and step grandson) as they get ready for the wedding party (they actually behaved themselves and were a credit to the family as well as providing much amusement during the day and night).

    Joanne,

I love this picture. That they are up to mischief is no doubt. Great conversion to B&W as well. i don't know what you were using for your aperture, but it worked well.

Nicely done, a bit too tight on the crop though.

This is such a handsome group of guys and you captured their good-looking, friendly nature. When you're in this situation in the future, consider temporarily removing the wall hangings for such a tight crop. Even so, removing them digitally would be a relatively easy task.

I think this is a great shot and equally so, a great conversion. What strikes me most though is that I feel the personality of each of these four guys is clearly indicated by the expression on their faces. Good work.

    Hi Joanne!

Great shot! Classy looking young men!

    Couple of thoughts?

Camera right guy has hand chopped? Camera left guy is cropped at elbow joint. His arm might be better angled back into the frame? Keep the arm inside the frame and lean him a bit forward and toward camera right? Get him looking at the lens like the other three?

Second from camera left lose the glass? Loosen the overall comp to help keep the suits from riding up on the shoulders?

Stinking easy for me to say and would to have a shot this good on my best day? (yep!)

    Great shot Joanne!
