Yes. I used the Better Beamer extender with the SB700.
I did not want to get too close in my Kayak but the extra light did help.

Stellar shots Monte, especially from a kayak using a 600mm lens.
I was always under the impression that the range of the better beamer was limited to about 60 yards though.
