    In an english country garden

    She left out hoverflies

    In an english country garden

How many insects find their home
    In an English country garden?
I'll tell you now of some I know
    Those I miss I hope you'll pardon
    Dragonflies, moths and bees
    Spiders falling from the trees
Butterflies sway in the mild gentle breeze
    There are hedgehogs that roam
    And little gnomes
    In an English country garden.

Very nice combination of an image and words Brian IMO the white flower is a bit too bright and competing with the insect but I think it can be fixed with PP.

It's actually Episyrphus balteatus - try finding a rhyme for that!

I'm not over worried about the flower brightness but I would do something about that bright background spot in the bottom right corner.

These are some of the more reliable hoverflies to catch in flight because they remain so steady; but always good to actually achieve a result like this.

    Episyrphus balteatus
    smaller than a Canada Goose
    Catching either while in flight
Takes a little bit of light
