    Strumble Head Light II

The two shots with the grasses that I posted recently were taken while I was waiting for the sun to set. This is the shot I had in mind when I went there.

Beautiful colours, John. I wonder if the image needs quite so much foreground, or whether it should be a little darker. Initially my attention was focused on the sunset but then I noticed the people and I find the foreground detail is competing with the sky fro my attention now.

Apart from that, I like the compositiion: good strong lines.

I take it that this is a typo for Strumble Head lighthouse?

Thanks for the comment Greg. I did wonder but I kind of like the lead in of the path and the figures - still not sure about them but they do give a sense of scale.

Hi John Because it is not a silhouette photo, I would try brightening the foreground just a bit if it was my image . It is possible to see the details of the lighthouse but I get distracted while trying to see the rocks and the stairs in the foreground. They are nice details and IMO they might add to the image if brightened.
