Binnur- I encourage you to give it a shot. These were not at all difficult. I found a spot about 1/4 mile from where they were launched, every setting was manual, kit was stabilized on the tripod, and I used the remote. I focused where I knew the shells were going to burst. Settings were f/16, ISO 200, shutter speed was 4 sec. I shot at a focal length of 17 mm to catch as much area as possible. Then it was sit back, enjoy the show, and click away.
I found timing was my greatest problem, a count to three after the shell was launched yielded the best results. My best results were of the small displays, the Grand Finale was just too busy.
