Hi

Just became a member. I have loved photography for a long time and had my own dark room in the film days when I was young, for development and printing of black and white. I have had various compact cameras. I still use some of them. I have canon SX30 and a Sony that I put in an underwater housing for scuba diving. I just purchased my first digital SLR. A canon D70. It is still early days but it looks very promising and I am enjoying the creative options it offers.

Welcome, Ryk. Photography has gotten more interesting than ever with the technology now available. All of the creative aspects are still there plus all of the additonal capability that we now have at our disposal. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
