Interesting, has an infrared look to it.
Thanks John. It is Infrared - hence the IR in the Title. It was very green and I like IR in mono so I thought I would give it a try.
Super image John, I really like this
I did a double take thinking there was now on the ground..............an interesting adaptation and very likeable.
Very, very nice, John. I really like it. A lot of details to observe, placed across a well balanced composition. Well done!
Thank you David, Kay and Otavio. Just an experiment in IR but I liked it.
One of the nicest IR images I've seen. Retains a soft look but keeps lots of detail. Let's not forget the great composition in an area that would be easy to be overwhelmed by elements to include in it.
One question, though: did you shoot with a camera that was modified for IR, use an IR filter on a non-modified camera, or use a non-modified camera and post-processing that emulates IR?
Thanks Binnur thanks Mike.
Mike, it's pure CS6 pp. I used the standard IR preset but backed the yellow channel off a bit. I have toyed with the idea of getting an IR filter for some time but there always seems to be other priorities.
Hadn't considered the speed aspect Mike. Typically how many stops do you lose?
