Problems? Repair Needed?
Nah, neither of these parking meters needs repair, especially if the one on the right is going to continue being used as a storage bin for old beer cans.

A very creative smile maker with beautiful detail.
I wonder if you have looked at it with a closer crop, just off the top at the level of the meters... It means you lose a bit of the beer can and part of the T, from the Bud Light... Just a version that I like and find rather amusing.

Actually, it was my wife who noticed the scene and brought it to my attention as a potential photo.
Christina's idea for a crop was slightly too intense for me but it did give me the idea for the crop shown below, which I like a lot more than the first version. Thanks, Christina!

I looked at this photo and was instantly transported into a feeling of rhapsody and bliss at
the utter competence of our government.

Thank you, Binnur. Agreed, Chauncey.
This photo was taken in Washington, D.C. in front of the National Geographic Headquarters. Two years ago that government took in $40 million in parking fees paid only using smart phones. You would think they could do the the math and determine that the cost of replacement will be more than paid for by the fees.
