    Anguish

I keep going back and forth with myself as to whether or not this needed a greater depth of field to have the woman also in focus. In the end I think not; I view the out of focus as part of the story. C&C solicited and always appreciated.

IMHO, having the lady in focus may have served you better.

I'm not sure that the title "anguish" would have occurred to me without your prompt. She could be just stretching!
I agree with Chauncey, that focusing on her would be better, as it's her anguish we should be noticing.
Was this a staged shot, or caught on the fly?

Playing in the garden...probably bugs in her hair.

Thank you for the comments. The shot was caught on the fly and while I know the back story it clearly didn't come through in the photograph. Learned something here.
    Thanks,
    Andrew
