    Crow River Flooding

This shot pretty much tells the story

    Crow River Flooding

After a month of way too much rain, the tranquil Crow has swollen to historic proportions and is threatening little Delano, Mn.

    Crow River Flooding

I took a little jaunt down the road this morning to view the flooding. A slight detour was necessary.

    Crow River Flooding

I finally made it to Delano to view the preparations on the main street, aptly named River Street

    Crow River Flooding

Sump pumps were running non stop in this small bistro, workers are getting a little glaze eyed in a losing battle

    Crow River Flooding

The bridge is likely going to be breached by this afternoon

The 2nd image is absolutely gorgeous. If it were mine I would crop just a wee bit off of the bottom (to eliminate the tree top in the corner) and even a wee-er bit off of the right hand side (to eliminate the other wee bit of the tree top) and then I would hang it on my wall. Breathtakingly beautiful! I especially love the sky! (And the gorgeous tree top colours and the reflections captured)

    Sorry for the flooding.

Nice series of chronicling the disaster.

The flooding of the Crow made the national news, but the flooding of the crop lands is what is really what hurts. Vast areas of land remain untilled, those that have been planted are suffering from saturated soils. Life in my world has not been so bad, I control mosquitoes and business has been brisk
