Canon 50D - sensor question

Hello, everyone! I have just joined and have a question regarding my sensor. I have noticed streaks in my vertical photos but not in my horizontal photos. Looking inside at the sensor, I see horizontal streaks. Is this something that can be cleaned off or bad problem?

Has the sensor recently been cleaned? If so, possibly wrong type of cleaning fluid or poor quality cleaning swabs.

If it hasn't been cleaned, then try doing it and see if that helps.

Very strange; if you have lines only on your vertical shots, not your horizontal ones. Something on the sensor should show up on all images, regardless of the camera orientation.

Could you post an image where we can see these lines?

Puzzling. Must see some results to know what's going on.

Without a couple of images (horiz and vert), we have no (useful) evidence.
