Socrates: Are you taking my picture?

Juzno: You have a problem with that?

Socrates: Well, are you taking a picture of the copy of my form? You know, the real me is somewhere in the Realm of Ideas. You might have to run that by The Demiurge.

Juzno: You mean you are not the real you?

Socrates: What you are seeing is an illusion. In fact, in my former self I was not a cat but a controversial Greek gadfly who was made to drink hemlock by the authorities for my radical teachings.

Juzno: How did the hemlock taste like?

    Socrates: It needed more ice.

I loved the story Socrates is a beautiful cat and the shot is very nice with sharp eyes. I don't know if a brighter BG would suit more

Maybe a little more room above the ears Rob, but that is just personal opinion, other than that a wonderful photo of beautiful cat.
    Cheers

Cheers, Binnur. Thanks for kind response. The original background blended with Socrates' fur. At his request, he wanted it darkened in post process. I think he seems pleased.

Cheers, Greg. Thanks for noticing and kind feedback. I was trying to see if I could trim Socrates hair because it looked like he needed a shave. No wonder he seems grumpy :-D

    I can't possibly vote Rob

Neither option is what I feel, or seems fair to Socrates

I was also thinking that I'm not sure it needs the negative space on the right, have you considered a crop - loosing about 30% off right side?

I do mean a crop off the picture, of course!
