The "sushi bar only for Nikon shooters"

I took these photos of this "bar only for Nikon shooters" with my Canon S100 just to register its existence.
Because the space restrictions I couldn't keep the camera level during shooting to avoid perspective distortion. Pictures #1, #2 and #3 are SOOC.
I tried to fix the perspective distortion with the software DxO ViewPoint 2.This software can be used by itself or as a plug-in of Elements (my case) or Photoshop.
    Please, see photos #4, #5 and #6.
What do you think about the perspective correction? It is OK or excessive?
    Antonio

    Hi Antonio,

What do you think about the perspective correction? It is OK or excessive?
Personally, I would not have taken #4 to the point of clipping the letters - which I see you haven't done in #6.

#5 is fine for perspective, but I wondered if there was a way in Elements to slightly reduce the barrel distortion?

    Hope that helps,

I think the first two processed work, but not so much the third.

For listening your advice about #5 I reprocessed #2 and obtained #7 and #8:
DxO ViewPoint 2 can recognize the camera and the lens used and applies the needed correction. I used this feature for obtaining picture #7.
I applied Elements correction for obtaining picture #8.
I obtained any improvement relative to picture #5?
In your opinion, which picture is better? Picture #7 or #8?
    Cheers,
    Antonio.

    Kaye,
I reprocessed photo #3 and obtained picture #9. Observe that now the vertical lines were corrected, but the final letter "O" was clipped. Because of that, I prefered to make a partial correction on picture #6.
    Cheers,
    Antonio.
