    Why in the Middle?
It's a beautiful shot, give the rose some more space.
Clever with the drops on it.

Because of my cropping it is squashed in the light frame until you click on it. To my eyes it is more to the left and top and not at all centered? I could give it a little more space but then the close up gets lost?

It was suggested by someone that one way to get better shots was to spend more time in pp. I went through three or four versions of this one. Not that it is perfect but it is nice.

Excellent Brian! You are making significant headway with your expertise. Keep up the good work.

Almost insignificant nits & picks - along the bottom, the piece of pink on the far right and mid-left and the white dot mid-right. If you applied the water drops, about one third that many would look less contrived.

I agree the two leaves and the white dot (really an out of focus water droplet) could be eliminated. As for their being so many droplets that it looks contrived... best you talk to Mother Nature she is the one that put them there.
