Just got this 1DsMkIII back from canon repair>returned all CF settings to the best I can remember...

Problem is that the shutter button will not respond by taking a picture, it will lock on Autofocus but,
will not cough out a picture.
However, it will function properly while in Live View Mode...it does cough out a image shooting in LV.
Any suggestions as to what my problem might be???

I am not a Canon guy but it sounds like it is not a shutter button issue because it works in live view. To me it sounds like a software glitch. Try removing the batteries and letting the camera sit a few minutes then reinstalling the batteries. If the camera has a way to do a hard reset try that. If that doesn't work try downloading and re-installing the latest firmware and see if it behaves as it should.

Aah...don't know how to do all that stuff.

Removing battery accomplished nothing...returning CFs/camera settings to default did nothing.
Will be burning up the phones first thing in the morning.
