Nicely spotted, composed, and presented.
Lovely image Phil, +1 to John's comments!
Very nice composition, light and texture
Well seen Phil and a nice image.
Thanks guys - I was waiting for some different shadows to appear but was starting to get funny looks hanging around under the bridge!
This reminds me of a few photos made by Josef Sudek.
Another brilliant shot Phil. You hit Cartier-Bresson's decisive moment" bang on.
I like the way that you use the lights along the tunnel to lead our eyes into the frame; really well thought out and composed; and from there the light and shadows take us to the silhoutte of the man walking; again our eyes are being guided by the light flaring out from left to right.
Thanks Manfred. I'm at a bit of a turning point photographically as my usual 'bread and butter' subject material is lacking in the UK! So trying a change of tack and trying to make scenes work more for me, looking for a human element to anchor the image and add context. It's a good challenge, as I'm completely having to change my mindset while trying to:
a) not share too much in social media, forums etc - trying not to post every image
b) build a catalogue in the UK as fast as possible
After a long walk and many clicks I'm generally happy if I come away with 2-6 solid keepers
