You have developed a very interesting style for street photography; I like it and am going to have to play with some of the ideas / concepts you are exploring with your postings. As you pointed out in one of your other posts, many of the examples of street photography we see today, treat the people in the images as part of the background, and you are pushing back against that view (very successfully, may I add). I agree with the direction, but feel that the environment shapes the context the person is photographed in as well.

I know squat about this genre so speak only as a viewer. I love the lighting on the face and the fact that the eyes are gazing into the distance rather than at the camera. Cloning out the ceiling lights and softening the sharp dark corner at upper left could allow the viewer to imagine any context that came to mind. Nice job.

Cheers, Dan. Thanks for noticing and kind words. Your suggestion have crossed my mind. To a point of how much do I clone out. Perhaps, I was just lazy to do that. Perhaps, I thought it would be overkill (I've already cloned out parts on the right side of the frame). I've done it with my other work and made it appear to be equally effective to convey a mystery. Difficult decisions. At the end of the day, this is what I ended up with. I guess so long as it makes me happy. :-) Thanks again.
