    Okay time for truth in advertising... the actual shot was from the top so I had to flip it 90 to the left.

    Lovely capture! Nice soft light on the moth captured with sharp focus and wonderful detail. Set off by a natural background that is very pretty and enhances your subject. ie; not too busy or distracting.

    Another one of my favourite images of yours.

    And I was assuming you had grass growing horizontally over there.

    I do that sort of thing a lot. Often rotating the crop various amounts until I get the exact angle which appeals to me.

    part of the glorious background is the mask and gaussian blur I am learning to use. it worked well here.

    Just to say that it is the pretty background that you chose, as well as the nice light, and the beautiful capture of the moth is the reason I like this image. Nothing to do with your post processing.
