Continuing my B&W street photography in Southern Ethiopia; this shot is a young mother and child, members of the Borana ethnic group. I got this shot while visiting a Borana village. B&W conversion using Nix Silver Efex Pro 2.

They look almost like a mirror? is that the way they really were? If so, how odd.

Her eyes were like that; very strange, dark, reflective and striking looking. You can see how strange they look in the coloured shot taken at around the same time; the child standing behind her has the very same eyes.
