Hi Randy
Very nice image. I cropped half of the image from the top as a trial and it is a lovely image with landscape format now. Please try the same thing and be happy with your image .Also some sharpening please

Re: Orange Shelf Fungus
I like this picture a lot: the subject, the colours and the composition. I wonder though whether it would be improved by a slightly increased depth of field. This is a question I often ask about my own pictures and find it difficult to know to what extent and exactly where a picture needs to be sharp.

Re: Orange Shelf Fungus
I had to sacrifice depth of field for shutter speed. Conditions were deep shade without tripod, I had to get low to get the composition that I wanted, therefore stability was not great. Minnesota has been unusually wet this year, near record rainfall in June. The fringe benefit has been incredibly lush growth and lots of mushrooms (not to mention mosquitoes).

Re: Orange Shelf Fungus
Great colors contrasting against the brown stump. The cropped version is better IMO. Either more or less of the stump was needed in the first one. Nicely done.
