Nature Photography advice website
I found this photo advice site through a wildlife website which I regularly use.
http://www.naturettl.com/
So far, I haven't studied it in any depth but it looks as though there might be something of interest there. Covers Landscape, Wildlife and other general photography issues.
Possibly falls into the gap between newcomer and expert; but there are a lot of people in that category looking for advice.
But read the CinC Tutorials first!

Thanks for posting this link Geoff, just a 5 minute perusal has given me some ideas to pursue. What I did like of what I saw were simple straightforward explanations along with some excellent photographic examples.

Re: Nature Photography advice website
I think that is a good site. While looking at his landscape images, what came to mind was some advice I read in Tim Fitzharris's book on landscapes. Fitzharris stressed the importance of getting the immediate foreground in good focus - his reasoning was that when one "stands in a landscape", the foreground is always in sharp focus (because it's right in front of our feet).
In every one of Peter Watson's images, the FG is in sharp focus.
Fitzharris also pointed out that the far distance being well focused is not as important because we don't see far distant objects with the same clarity that we see the FG and MG (mid ground).
Thanks for the link.
