Lovely capture Neil!
Some good late afternoon lighting showing the mountains and foreground rocks at their best Neil, very nice.
Beautiful light Neil and the composition is brilliant
Thanks for your kind comments, still getting the hang of finding suitable compositions to use the big stopper and discovering what I need to do in editing. This fantastic forum proved a source of info especially useful was the tip to adjust the colour temperature to around 10,000K to remove the blue colour cast from the filter.
I like the composition as well, but would boost the contrast in LR.
Nice capture. Well done.
#2 is better Neil, vey nice colours composition and light
It's a great shot; but I'm with Donald on this one. I prefer the first image as well. The rocks seem to have acquired a bit too much of a green tinge. With the setting sun, you are getting into a mixed lighting situation, and you will be fighting the light from the sun against the light coming down from the blue sky. I would be tempted to push things into a bit warmer colour range.
I think there's a bit too much extra contrast. It changes the mood of the original image which portrays a softer, more pleasant sunset view.
Neil, Although I liked #2, majority thinks that it is too contrasty. So, I think increasing clarity just a bit might have better effect than adding too much contrast. I think you can keep the mood in this way. Just an idea
I kinda think it's a coin flip either way, maybe Binnur has the better solution...

I'm quite happy with the last version Neil. Not as pale as the first and not as contrasty as the second. Soft and nice colours , good texture, lovely place
It is a favourite spot of mine, two months ago I proposed to my girlfriend there, we had the whole beach to ourselves.
It is interesting to see the progress of the PP. Version 3 works for me.
