    Footloose country?

Greg do you live down there? Bulli to Wollongong (NSW Australia) with Tasman Sea..
All photographs taken visiting the area last week. Sea was flat so no surfer images to compete Gregs. (Thank goodness)

Yep. That's the new lighthouse I walk past everyday. Surprised to see a shot of it out without a dozen people in the frame. Actually, I think I saw you taking that shot last week.

Good shot of the pelican, Paul. Did you take that in the harbour?

Thanks for the comments Greg (both it saves typing but still sounds personal?)

The Pelican was taken after eating fish and chips at a shop at the waters edge of a place I think is called Tuggerah Bay.

Ali thanks for the comment. I will give improved technology a great deal of the credit for enabling the retention of detail in both the blacks and whites. It is something I had a constant battle with back in the days of film.

    Thanks Binnur

My 12 year old grandson using my old camera (D200) spotted the bird in #3 so I took this shot over his shoulder...tried not to push him out of the way

I assume by hitting you expect to fall off your skis..... Have a great time - the photography can be stunning down there on a clear day.

That looks to be a nice area. Nice series but the two birds for me as well.

I wish I could say you're correct LPaul but our activities will be restricted to minding the grandkids whilst their parents ski ! I am hoping to get in some photography though.

Oh and by the way, nice set of shots.

Thanks Otávio. One of the birds is nearly as colourful as your Toucans....

Yes John it is a nice area and the locations shot were partly to show Footloose that I had been brave enough to be there. I prefer the the bird shots as well.
