Feeling kind of flat.....but this is what I saw
A year into my effort to learn the art and craft of photography and feeling a little flat, verging on uninspired. No doubt it's just a phase and I shall persevere. Morning mist and fog drew me out with the camera this morning. I like that diffuse mysterious light that fog provides but could "see" nothing. I changed the way I was looking and this is what I saw as I returned to the house. I'm showing this in an effort to keep myself engaged in the process. C&C solicited and always welcome.
Thanks,
Andrew

Pleasing color and patterns Andrew. I might be able to use a little something as an attention getter? Perhaps a solitary ladybug?

Andrew, it is my opinion that the humble leaf is an underrated subject, but...it does require innovated lighting, depth of field, and PP to do them justice...or, put a bug in there.

Nice patterns, but I agree that there needs to be a punch of colour added.

Carefully adding a touch of highlight brightness might work; but leave the shadows dark.
