Not this one but the next one.

Spotted these two whilst waiting for my sister-in-law's train to arrive last week. I was taken by the fact that they had dressed in complimentary pastels. The problem was the very busy BG - hence the colour pop. Can be over done for the sake of it but in this case I hope it has a purpose. Light box is definitely best for this. Comments very welcome as usual.

Hi John. I would crop the dark part of the wagon on the right hand side but leave the window with reflections at the right end. The dark part is distracting and doesn't add to the image at all. Very nice image

    Thanks for all the comments.

Binnur/David, not sure about the suggested crop. I tried this all ways up until I settled on a panoramic comp because I preferred the WA feel. The RHS needed darkening to provide a stop and encourage the eye to travel back into the comp. Without it, I thought the reflection becomes too dominant but maybe that's just personal preference.

Good point, John, I have never thought of that. I think that idea works well, although maybe reduce the size of that stop by half. I suggest that because the reflection of the couple is clearly visible in the window before the dark section, but is in fact slightly visible again in the dark section towards the edge of the frame.

Hadn't noticed that Greg but I agree with the slight crop. Strangely the balance feels better and the "stop" is still there. Thanks.

Thanks Izzie, thanks Peter. I have been carrying a camera (small Fuji) most places recently and it is surprising what you spot.
