To save $200 you have to spend $3300 on the D810 body plus $1750 in lenses and/or speedlights. That's a savings of 4%. Hardly worth getting out of bed.

Perhaps, but if you are in the market for a new camera and you think you might need lenses and speedlights then 4-11% is better than 0%.
