John...the first ones are very nice. I am intrigue at how you capture those shots. When I was researching some shooting techniques on the net sometime ago as a prelude to my going out, most of the shots from the so-called experts seemed to be leaning back, sideways or something else. Maybe that is another style of shooting a building or mixed styles of building, old and new ones or something. I don't know...but these ones you have here are really upright. I love it. The last two of the first post, I cannot make up my mind on which interpretation I like best. Each has its own mood...

Well...I will nit the second installment...the shot is leaning to the left... I feel like the water will suddenly spill from the right drowning everything to the left...LOL (sorry....) The idea is there though...

    Hi Izzie,

Thanks for the comments and critique. The two glass buildings were shot very near sunset and during my post-processing I was trying to tone down the highlights and in the process very nearly blended the edges of the building with the background sky.

Great light in the first 3 shots John. Very attractive images. The fourth shot could do with some clockwise rotation - unless you were after that tilted look.

    Dave,

Thanks for the comments and critique. Not really after the look, I think it comes from shooting with a camera bag on my shoulder.

Very nice. The 2nd and 3rd images particular are especially beautiful to me for the sharpness, detail and the beautiful light/reflections. With the lighter exposure being my preference.
