Nicely done in the portions well exposed, the shadows are working against you. The reflected light in the shadows beneath the plate and the green cloth are a bit too intense.

Thanks John..Yeah, you are right about the shadows..this was shot on the fly in my work kitchen, not a studio setup. I had to deal with the lighting that was available.

Travis, it might not be the look you want, but you can probably edit this particular image so that the shadows go black.
