    Up, Up, and Away

I love interesting images and this one for me is very interesting.

I was high on the Crown Mountain Road traversing the volcanic island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands when I saw this aircraft departing the Cyril E. King airport. You can see Lindbergh Bay and the runway below.

We don't often get a chance to see aircraft in flight from above, and particularly not while we are standing on the ground!

    Up, Up, and Away

    Enjoy!

Well captured. Did you do successive shots? Is there one that is a little bit higher? Or this is it?

Gotta go back to bed. Goodnight...all.

Hi Izzie. Thanks! I managed to get two others but in the next one the plane was almost touching the top of a mountain and the last one it was too far to be effective. I would have preferred that there was more separation from the land in this one but getting it 'right in camera' isn't always an option and we have to work with what we have.
