Since the aim of these is to get you taking and submitting photos, let see if it can also encourage people to post monochrome (black and white) images, even if that's not in their normal photography 'diet' (e.g. like me)

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forums

    B&W Abstract

As I was sitting on the couch in my living room, I just happened to glance up at the window and lo and behold, saw this fascinating cloud formation! Got my lazy butt off the couch and got my camera and started clicking away! I really like these type of cloud formations, especially with a blue sky for the background. When converted to a B&W, the blue sky just goes black, providing the much needed contrast to bring out the cloud's mystery. C&C most welcome; and no you won't offend me, so let me have it

Wow! That's a lot of jam you get through. Talking of screws - does that say 'roller sex' on the door?

    Places to avoid

#1 A grave. It is a crap photo taken with a crap lens so I thought I'd turn it a little abstract. Chunky detail, Yellow filter but can't remember the output filter except a fake infra is used. A brush to smooth out posturisation caused by the output filter but that is about it.
