    Used camera value

I'm trying to decide a fair price for an old 35mm Canon ae-1 I'm selling. I have researched it on line, but the prices I find seem to vary so much. So I thought I'd ask how this would seem to folks as my estimate: (US dollars)

Body- Good condition, w/ manual & box: $40-80?

    Soliger 28-80 mm F 3.5-4.5 w/original box: $20-40

    Cambron telephoto lense w/case: $40-70

    Cambron 2x converter w/ box: $10-25

If no one has any better idea, that's fine. But you don't have to spend all day researching it for me, I already have (ebay, KEH,and various other sites). But my ideas are still vague.

    Thanks for your opinions!

Seems a reasonable set of figures. I'd probably go to about the mid-point of the range on each item and advertise at that.

I usually click on sold listings in the options and see what comes up.

I assume the lenses are Canon FD fit. These can be difficult to sell even when they are Canon lenses.

Thanks for your helpful suggestions folks. If it isn't selling in a while, I suppose I can change the prices.

I am not very familiar with this kind of equipment, but these are the lenses that were used with the camera.

You'll be lucky to get 50 bucks for all of it. Thirty year old technology

Too old to be new, and too new to be antique? I think I can get a little more for it than that, but I don't know, for sure.

To be honest, I think the prices you ask are too high, particularly for the lenses. I would pay perhaps 10-20 bucks for the camera if I ever wanted one, and for each of the glass 2-5 $ - they are probably in these days only good to canibalize them and use the lenses for something self-made.

Thanks for your suggestions. Perhaps the prices on this old equipment should be somewhat modest.
