    B&W or cyano?

I shot this image my camera downwards intentionally in order to put emphasise on the shadows. I also like the feeling of depth in the image. I have another version with trees in whole form but that is another composition and I will upload it after editing too.

I would like to know your opinions about the conversion and composition. I used a less saturated version of cyanotype so that the image doesn't get too bluish. Which one do you prefer, B&W or cyano ?

Thanks for the comments in advance

    Hi Binnur,

B & W for me. The cyano is fine but it changes the texture of the grassy area.

    Hi Binnur,

I prefer the B&W because it looks more natural to me. But I think I would prefer seeing this image in your usual exceptionally beautiful colours.

With respect to composition I can see what you were seeing but I find this image to be a little odd. For some reason I think it would work better in a portrait orientation with the line of trees on either side forming a frame for the shadows in the middle.

I have a version with trees framing the scene in landscape form. I will edit and upload it soon. IMO it is a better composition and I will try to upload a colour version as well . But because the photo was taken in the afternoon when sun was pretty high , I'm not sure if colour will work as good as B&W.

Thank you David. I know that it is not a very good composition but trying my wide angle lens with different ways really teachs me

Great eye! I'll go against the grain of the thread and mention that I prefer the cyanotype by far, I think mostly because the toning arrests the eye and forces me to think about the image.

Consider removing the shadow that extends upward from the bottom left side of the frame.
