I did. I was wondering if the hint of blue shadow i put in might be distracting but so far it looks like her eyes.

I'm not sure about misty but it's possible she's seeing some reflected light from the greenery in the shadows. Looks good to me.

There is something of a tint present, maybe she sees that.

With the overall green, that might lead the eyes to think there is a tint; however, as others have said, the yellow is a very vibrant yellow. I don't see a greenish tint on the flower itself.

I don't know how much reflected green there may be, but I would have tried a white reference for one shot, in order to avoid tinging from the reflected light.

To me, it looks like she who must be obeyed is right in a way, or at least that I agree in part. The yellow has a green tinge, and it can be made more yellow by removing green. You might observe the greenish tinge particularly on the petal to the left behind the "tongue" that has red spots. Removing green (adding magenta) gives the yellow colour more sting. Yellow may be enhanced in this way by removing some green in highlight and midtones, leaving the shadows as they are.

I cannot find anything misty about it though.

    I can try that.
