Re: Variety of Shots
Hi Bill: welcome back.
All nice shots, I escpecially like the reflections in the window "looking out"
#1 and 3 are good too, I always like B&W with a bit of colour.
#2 is beautiful, but too me looks like it could use a slight counter clockwise rotation - just a little. # 4 looks to need quite a bit of CC rotation.
I like the lighting and colours in #7, but the tilt does not work for me
Did you manage to get any Olympic shots? I hope things are getting back to normal out there. The olympics were great except of course for the unCanadian weather.

I love the brightness of your police officer against the black and white. What do you suppose the people on the sidewalk are looking back at: him or you?

I like 'looking outside' and the last one. Very nice colours and composition.

Re: Variety of Shots
Thanks for all the comments, I didn't manage to get much the Olympics sadly, it was extremly busy downtown, and the days i was able to go the weather was crap.
I agree with the rotations, sometimes you don;t see it until someone else points it out .
And the people behind the police, they are getting ready to see the Olympic torch go by, the cop was ahead of it.

Re: Variety of Shots
I like the first shot (Orpheum theater), this looks like it could have been taken in any decade.

I like the On Patrol, especially because you get arrested here for taking pics of cops. B+W with the yellow jacket works very well. Cheers
