New Hi End DSLRs 24 & 37MP

Sony have just announced their first full frame DSLR the A900, with over 24 MP priced around £2100.

Leica have also entered the fray with their new S series DSLR aimed at competing with the medium format cameras at 37.5 MP for the body only at around £15-16,000. Serious stuff.

Serious indeed.

I saw a shot from the A900, it was blooming impressive!
Mind you, the glass needs to be too, there seemed to be very little CA around the edges.

Would be nice, but 20MB jpgs and probably 100+MB RAWs, I'd need a bigger disk, not to mention the deep pockets!

And as for 37MP, that's just silly; but you could start using digital zoom I suppose.
