I like the overall shot, but which is the actual fortification? With a shot like this you need to use something to direct your viewers eyes directly to the actual subject. Or if you are trying to confuse the enemy, then I think this works as is.

Well, that's Dover Castle in the UK. It stands at one of the more narrow parts of the English Channel. In fact, just about everything you see above the seafront is the fortification and has been building since the Iron Age. There are still tunnels from WW II that you can visit.
