I like the composition...would improve on the verticals and bring some brightness into the image.

I can increase the exposure no problem but what do you mean by "improve on the verticals", chauncey?

Because you took the shot from ground level the vertical lines naturally slope inward...
should you desire, you can spread the top to insure the vertical lines are all vertical.
Something easily accomplished in LR/PP software.

What tool would I use? I'm still pretty new to LR.

Nice shot Daniel; the tiny bit of clouds that sneak in definitely help the gloomy mood of the building.

The keystoning in the shot doesn't really bother me as it is fairly minor (I don't like shots where the building seems to be ready to fall over). I'm not sure if Lightroom has the capability to make this type of change; as that tool is a very rudimentary editor.

As for the exposure, it looks right; adjusting the black point and white point (something you can do in Lightroom) will probably help give the shot a bit more "pop".

Indeed, a tweak with the keystone tool is a must… but I would not change a thing to the rest of the rendition!

The link chauncey provided did the trick. Here is the reworked version. The difference is very, very subtle.

    Old
