    Brian,

    A nice image. I'm glad to see that someone here other than me is interested in dessicated leaves as a subject. I find them very interesting because of the lines and textures. This one is nicely done. The lighting is good, and the leaf is mostly in crisp focus. I would suggest dropping a bit from the right and dodging to darken the green leaves, since they are mostly a distraction. It might also be good to tone down the sticks at the bottom, for the same reason.

    I do enjoy a good leaf but they need to be at a height that my old and abused back allows.
