f/5.6, 270mm, ISO 1000, 1/60sec handheld. I like the shot even though recovery is limited.

Made noise adjustment in NIK Dfine, sharpening in PSE only made the noise worse.

He certainly fits into the Caribana look.

Strange rig he is shooting with; a fluid head on a monopod with a DSLR. I would guess he is a videographer, rather than a photographer. But seems to be looking through the viewfinder, not the screen on the back of the camera; maybe he is a photographer after all.

I think you're right… a videographer! The strategy to shoot through the
viewfinder is for longer battery life since the screen would take too much
juice! Well observed!

Right! …and a simple WB adjustment could solve that. On the other hand, this
very yellow overcast is situating the shot in time and space (nighttime in the
city). So this adjustment should not be perfect but allow for a remaining tint.

I think he was shooting video as he would hold this position as long as the singer was in a stationary position.

I got a PM saying that "I'm not sure to understand!?!?"

Of course, he must be a videographer and he must be taking a photograph!

He must be a videographer to have chosen such a head and he must be taking
a photograph to not use LiveView. …or he is just preparing the next video take.
My mistake here is to have not clearly indicate my joking reaction to the contraption!
Saving battery power is irrelevant since one cannot use the viewfinder shooting
a video (the mirror is up!).

Not on a DSLR! The mirror would be up, so looking through a viewfinder would be pointless shooting video; as one would be looking at a black view...

Well he could be using a fujifilm slr mirrorless, an Olympus em, panasonic g series or even a sony full frame a7, as with any of those you can video through the view finder, I do quite often if there are distracting lights behind me reflecting on the screen.
